Materials: A recommended material list will be made available before the start of class but will generally include basic stationery supplies

Four live 2 hours sessions

Starting May 6, 2023.

  • Week 1 - Saturday May 6, 1-3 pm Eastern / 10-12 Pacific
  • Week 2 - Saturday May 13, 1-3 pm Eastern / 10-12 Pacific
  • Week 3 - Saturday May 20, 1-3 pm Eastern / 10-12 Pacific
  • Week 4 - Saturday May27, 1-3 pm Eastern / 10-12 Pacific


Calls will include live instruction, time to work on exercises and feedback on work. 

Class videos, audios, chats and transcripts will be saved and archived for the duration of the course and 4 weeks afterwards.

There is no Mighty Network component for this course. All work will be completed during the live class or in homework assignments shared on the following zoom call.

About the Instructor

Sarah (they/she) is a queer visual artist, storyteller and educator. Besides their most recent self published comic, The World Ends With A Poot!, they have self published over 12 comics and zines. Their work has appeared in The Stranger, The Believer, The Rumpus, Scarfff Newspaper and other rad indie publications. They recently graduated from CCA with their MFA in Comics. When they aren’t making comics you can find them selling comics at Silver Sprocket in SF.
